Parking Citation

You must pay the fine within 30 days of the date the ticket was issued. On payment, you will be deemed to have admitted to the infraction and to have waived your right to contest the citation.

A late penalty will be added if the fine is not paid within 30 days after the ticket was issued.
There are four ways to pay the fine for a parking complaint: in person, over the phone, by mail or online.

  1. You can pay the fine in person at the Parking Violations Bureau located in downtown Miami at Courthouse East or at any of the court location listed on the back of your ticket.
  2. You can also pay with Visa or MasterCard by calling the automated voice response system (24 h/day) at 305-275-1133.
  3. You may mail your payment to the Parking Violations Bureau at Courthouse East but the payment must be mailed so that it is received before the late penalties are applied.
  4. Online payments can be made through the following site with Visa or MasterCard.

FRAUD ALERT: Please note that the City has been made aware of attempts by bad actors to fraudulently mimic City invoices and redirect any payments made to a scam account.  BEFORE PAYING ANY INVOICE, PLEASE VERIFY THAT THE INVOICE IS GENUINE BY CALLING 305-663-6343 TO CONFIRM. Please also check the sender’s email address. City invoices will only come from the email extension @somifl.gov. A sender with any other email extension is not coming from the City, no matter how official the email may seem or even if it appears to include the City’s logo or names of officials. Please be advised that any payments made to a non-City of South Miami account cannot be recouped by the City, will not be credited to the application, and cannot be refunded by the City. We regret that this fraudulent activity is occurring, but are confident that, through increased vigilance and cooperation, we can limit its impact.
