  1. About MetroConnect.

It’s an on-demand public rideshare service. Just enter your pickup and drop-off locations. We’ll pick you up steps from your door, and we’ll get you to your destination!


When can I ride?


Dadeland North & Dadeland South Zones 

Monday - Friday: 6:30 am - 7 pm


Extended South Miami Zone 

Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays: 12 pm - 11 pm
Sundays: 12 pm - 8:30 pm

  1. How to book a ride?

1. Create an account.

Download the MetroConnect app from the App Store or Google Play Store, create an account, and add a payment method.


2. Book a ride.

Enter your pickup and dropoff addresses, choose the ride that works best for you, and tap Book This Ride.

You can also call 786-321-5842 to book a ride, and speak with someone in Spanish.


3. Meet your driver.

Check the app to see when you should head outside to meet your driver. The app will always show you an estimated arrival time.

  1. How much do rides cost?

• $3.75 Base Fare.

• $1.50 Discounted Fare for trips to/from designated transit hubs. The app will automatically calculate your fare when you book.


What payment methods are accepted?


MetroConnect accepts Credit Card, Debit Card, or Prepaid Card. We also support Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash is not accepted, nor EASY Card.

  1. Can I book a ride in advance?

MetroConnect SoMi is an on-demand service, so you should book your ride a few minutes before you’re ready to go. If you’re headed to a time sensitive appointment, be sure to book your ride with a bit more buffer, so you can get there when you need to.

  1. Who will I be sharing my ride with?

Other passengers headed in the same direction may be picked up and dropped off during your trip. This keeps the service fast and efficient!

  1. Are wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAV) available?

Yes — and if you need a WAV we’ll pick you up right at your door! Please let us know you need a wheelchair accessible vehicle by filling out this form, or calling 786-321-5842.
