Sensory Program

Overview

The City of South Miami, in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Office of Commissioner Raquel Regalado (District 7), Stars Miami, the Ausome Foundation and UM-NSU CARD, is excited to have its first sensory room program in South Miami!

The Sensory Lab features a wall mural, wall sensory installations/activations, program work stations, a smart interactive board, and other equipment designed for kids with neurodiversity or sensory processing conditions.

Programming

On the 2nd Saturday of every month, SoMi Parks and STARS Miami will provide movement and art-based activities to support all sensory needs and development for children ages 3 -12. Class is available from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. 

Classes are FREE; Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
